PowersLiberty Motorsports resumes its chase for top honors in the Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda this weekend (July 31 – August 1), with a pair of races in its home state at the Autobahn Country Club circuit. Rounds Seven and Eight will mark the return of Matthew Powers to series competition, having recently reunited with the Illinois-based squad via a strong showing in official testing.

Matt PowersLiberty Motorsports in its constant quest to improve and get better, recently returned to action via official Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda testing at both Road America and Autobahn Country Club. American Matthew Powers, in preparation for a full second half of the season campaign in the highly rated development series, got behind the wheel in both days of testing, showing good skill as he further bonded with the Illinois-based squad.

F2000 CHAMPIONSHIP PODIUM AND TRACK RECORD FOR LIBERTY MOTORSPORTS AT WATKINS GLEN PDF Print E-mail
Liberty Motorsports continued its run of form in the F2000 Championship Series over Independence Day weekend (July 3-4), adding another podium finish to its resume in Rounds Seven and Eight at Watkins Glen International. Cole Morgan led the Illinois-based team charge, finishing fourth and third in the doubleheader, while Bobby Caldwell added valuable points via 13th and ninth place finishes. Zach Craigo meanwhile rebounded from a pair of difficult qualifying runs to finish 21st and 22nd in the two races.
